“What a dump”

This place was horrible. I stayed there 8 nights for a seminar. It was dirty, smelly, and the food was awful. The staff barely cleans the rooms and the linnens on the bed are on there the entire time you asre there. The bathroom smells of mold and they do not restock any of the soap dispensors unless you stay on top of it. It is crowed with different groups of prople tso br prepared to walk up and down stairs because the elevators are slow and very small. The dining staff is very unprofessional. They get you nothing and can't wait for you to get out. I would never stay there again. My blow dryer blew and so I refused to plug in anything else, espically my computer.

“Do not stay here!”

This place is a nightmare. I stayed here for a week with a seminar and it was awful. It is dirty, loud, icky food and the staff is disgruntled and rude. The rooms barely got cleaned and restocked each day. The floors are dirty and the whole place smells. It is crowded with groups in and out. One night there was a huge party on my floor all night long. Last and certainly not least, three of the people in my group got BED BUGS!,!!!!
If you can, avoid this place at all costs.

“Central Busy yet good value for money tourist and buisness hotel .”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 December 2011

I needed a cheap overnight stay, the hotel wasn’t too shabby! I arrived early on one of the busiest days of the year and only had to wait 20 minutes in a pleasant reception yet busy reception lounge with complimentary hot cider. The receptionist was very helpful efficient but not too knowledgeable about the area, he changed my room for one nearer the elevator. The hotel was full and bustling yet all the staff were extremely helpful.
I was on the 11th floor, overlooking the city, a large clean room with a balcony, plasma TV, complimentary toiletries , hair drier safe, fridge coffee and tea making facilities, and free movie channels on TV ( but no BBC entertainment for fellow Brits who want to keep up with UK soaps!!!)
The bed was comfortable, there was ample cupboard space ,a work station . I would have liked more power points as nowadays one travels with cell phones and lap tops that need charging, The Internet wasn’t free, and I was given a code that I could only use on one devise , there is apparently free internet in the public areas but I could only get it by the reception area. This is an area in which the hotel could improve.
I explored the hotel there is the statutory overpriced gift shop catering to the tour groups, a state of the art pool and fitness center open from 6am, (Pre book your massages prior to arrival if you are planning an overnight stay. expensive paid separately to the spa but excellent! ) If you are staying in the hotel swimming and gym is free.
In the afternoon I relaxed with an excellent coffee in the lounge, they had soya milk on request ( brownie points!) it was the same price as local coffee shops although I had to wait for service as I arrived at staff break time it was worth the wait.
Downside, the hotel staff were noisy, adding to the hustle and bussle by calling out greetings and instructions to each other in the public areas...management take note this has to be anoying to hotel guests .

Dinner was plentiful with a good selection of fresh salads, from a well prepared hot and cold buffet I am not vegetarian but I am not sure what they could eat ,but feel the hotel would help if asked. The food is good not wonderful but above average for mass catering . Breakfast is served from 7am is a good typical Israeli breakfast.
I was surprised by this hotel, considering that it is part of a chain, priced at the cheaper end of the market, I expected a motel standard, yet had a comfortable convenient overnight stay. that was more than value for money. I would use this hotel again and recommend if you want some where without luxury but with more than average services.

Room Tip: Just by location this is not a quiet hotel, but I was not disturbed by the city noises.. I travel w...

“Awful service, bad/noisy rooms, BUT: very, very cheap”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 December 2011

Location: very close to the exit to the highway to Tel Aviv, so can be very convenient if you need to travel outside J-m. for tourist purposes, not convenient as not in center

Ambience: lobby is small and was extremely busy during my weekend visit. There were a few groups of young students who were all over and very loud (albeit friendly), leaving no space to anyone else.

Room: bad, bad and bad. I had to ask to change my room. The first room was not clear and was extremely noisy, facing the main road. Quality of both rooms is inferior to a 1-stars hotel.

Service: what service? They have no idea how to treat customers. Reception was fighting few different guests during my whole short 1-night stay, finding excuses for what was wrong. I was happy they did not fight me, I was certainly not in the mood.

Reception: nightmare! I waited for over an hour to check in and get the keys to my room. next to me, people were waiting for longer. This was Saturday (Shabbat), and apparently, there are religious guests who are not checking out until it’s dark so they keep their rooms until 5-6 pm, not allowing cleaning personnel to make up the rooms.

Breakfast: simple but it was food. After dirty rooms, waiting over an hour for the rooms key, shouting reception manager, etc. getting some food without a problem was a positive surprise.

Spa: swimming pool is OK. A small spa and massage are reasonable quality. The area near the swimming pool is actually quite relaxing, sun tents were freely available.

The hotel is not 4 or 3 stars. It’s a mix of 1-stars rooms, 3.5 stars swimming pool and minus-2-stars service. Very noisy. Despite that, the price was sooo low that I may return if all I need is to overnight somewhere in a convenient location.
