Beautiful mediterranean design. The hotel wasn't crowded, so we had a very quiet stay. The breakfast is great. There is a nice enclosed patio out front and a convenience store just around the corner. It is a short walk to Ben Yehudah street. The mikvah in the hotel was a huge convenience for my husband. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed staying there very much.

We stayed here over Christmas last year and while the entrance and lobby are recently refurbished in a contemporary style, the rest of the hotel is a bit of a time warp. I would guess it must be 30 to 40 years old, feels a little 70s. The rooms are small, clean, though clearly in need of updating. The same is true of the breakfast area and the breakfast itself, which, while with substantial choice, is largely composed of low quality ingredients and very old fashioned. I would not stay here again and felt that it was significantly overpriced for what it is - it is possible you may get a cheaper deal if it is part of a package, as there appeared to be many guests staying here as part of a group.

Right from the arrival I felt like returning home, because the workers, the lobby and the front desk were very welcoming. The room was very clean with nice furniture and sweet design. The meals were delicious and with wide selection of food. The lobby bar has great wines and other drinks, and the waiters treated me like a president of the US. The best part is the location - 20 minutes to the Old city, 10 minutes to downtown's entertainment area, 10 minutes to central bus station, and 5 minutes to great city market. I decided to stay for one more night, so they made me 10% discount as a gift.
All in all I had a great and unforgettable experience from staying in Prima Palace hotel.

In a word, this place is dignified but it is also friendly and comfortable. Beginning with its unusual entry, a large gated and landscaped courtyard, the Prima Palace continues to impress with its comfortable rooms -- the baths, though not large, are luxurious -- and superb buffet breakfast. Walk to Old Jerusalem or to its modern center with traditional and trendy shops, restaurants and kabob outlets (of course).
