“Wish at the Wall's Amazing stay at Prima Kings Jerusalem”

Every year Chai Lifeline, the international cancer organization giving support to families with cancer, sends a group of cancer children accompanied by a parent to Israel for a trip of a life time. This program is called “Wish at the Wall” and Chaiyanu\Chai Lifeline Israel arranges all the logistics for the trip from our Jerusalem office. When we looked into the Prima Kings in Jerusalem, we were so impressed with everything that we decided there and then this is our home away from home.
The beauty, the aura, the personalities of the staff, the care and concern and the constant love that embraced everything that was done for us is something that is absolutely beyond description!
Your STAFF made each person feel like a million dollars and gave our caretakers the ability to give each family exactly what they needed!
I must single out one unique and special person on your staff “Shwekey”. He was absolutely magical, doing everything humanly possible for each and every single person, making sure that the absolute maximum was being carried out for the group at every moment of our stay.
I commend you on an incredible hotel with a fantastic staff, may you be blessed for all of your efforts you made in hosting our families.

With great appreciation and admiration

Thank you.

“Location and Value for money”

Wow what a great postion. In the middle of Jerusalem. Walk 10 minutes down the hill and you're in Mamilla, walk ten minutes to the left and your'e in Ben Yehuda, a few doors from the great synagogue, twenty minutes to Emek Refaim, twenty minutes to the Kotel. We loved it.
We spent 18 days in this hotel. We booked a mini suite, which is in actual fact a large room. The suite is fairly well furnished, the beds are comfortable and sheets are nice. Breakfast as in every hotel in Israel is - plentiful and tasty, with a pleasant chef making a variety of eggs every morning.
The hotel is in the midst of renovation, one floor at a time. The lobby is a nice size, and with the refurbishing that will take place soon,( as I was told,) it will be very inviting. Staff was pleasant, especially Hila, Ilan, and Avi at the front desk, who were very helpful.
We would definatley stay here again. Its not the King David, nor will it ever be, but neither is the price of the rooms. Its value for money. With the renovations, it will be a nice hotel.

“Location! Location! Location!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

This was my first trip to Israel and I was very worried about where to stay. We did very well by staying at the Prima Kings. We arrived on a Thursday evening and was greeted by a bell hop who was more than willing to help us to our room. We checked in to room 608 which was larger than I thought. There was 2 twin beds put together as a king, and then a separate twin bed. There was still plenty of room to move in the room and then we added a roll away. Even with 4 of us in the room - lots of room. The bathroom was very large too. When we called for extra towels and hangers, they were there in less than 15 minutes. We also had to have someone show us how to use the TV - they came up very quickly. The hotel lobby is very nice and a great place to hang out to play cards late at night or on Shabbos. The morning breakfast is typical Israeli with lots of salads but they did have eggs, potatoes and great bread. Since we stayed there 10 days we got bored with the same selections everyday. Shabbos Dinner & lunch was awesome - food is excellent and plentiful. Now let's talk location. You are literally 8 minutes from Ben Yehuda Street, Machne Yehuda Market, Geula, and other sites. About a 12 - 15 minute walk (downhill) to the Mamilla Mall, the Jaffe Gate, and the Kotel. There is a Supersol Supermarket across the street, the Great Synangoe around the corner, and an awesome restaurant (Sheyan) behind the hotel). The hotel was clean but could use some upgrades. I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: If you do not like to walk stairs on Shabbos, ask for a low floor.

“Well Situated in Jerusalem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 January 2012

The good points about this hotel were the location which is well situated in relationship to the old city and a number of other places of interest. Getting to places of interest that are situated further away was simple because of the close proximity to various modes of transport. The buffet breakfast was typically Israeli and was excellent with a large variety to choose from to suite most tastes.

The front desk staff was pleasant, but nothing more. On one hand the lobby and dinning room decor was attractive but on the other hand the elevator and room décor was tired and in need of restoration, particularly the bathroom where the toilet seat was quite disgusting.

Finally, I would recommend this hotel for the positive points mentioned above and the fact that the price was reasonable considering that the hotel is so well situated.

“Fabulous Location for Visiting Jerusalem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 January 2012

We stayed here for 5 days while we were on the Jerusalem part of a two week tour of Israel.

Our room was clean and well appointed, though much smaller than some of the other rooms that other members of our group had. It wasn't a big deal, because all we really needed was a place to shower, sleep, and have breakfast.

The upside of our small room was that we were in a section of the hotel that allowed us access to free internet (from an unknown source.) Having brought a laptop from home, it was nice to have free internet access to keep up with what was going on at home.

The breakfast buffet was plentiful, and I made regular trips to the omelet station!

Upon our arrival our luggage was delivered to our rooms quickly and upon departure the bags were loaded in the bus with equally good speed.

We had a few group meetings while we stayed at the hotel, and meeting space was made readily available for us.

The hotel is within easy walking distance of Ben Yehuda street, and the bus ride into the old city and the other places we visited while in Jerusalem was short.

Room Tip: If it's important to you, ask for a larger room. We had a smaller one, but had access to free i...
