Most of the hotel has recently been remodeled and updated. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable but narrow (twin size!). Our room had a large walk-in shower, no tub. Refrigerator in room but no coffee maker or complimentary water (when traveling in Israel, it's a good idea to only use filtered bottled water - even for brushing your teeth, so that gets expensive). Heating system worked well, and we had a beautiful view of Jerusalem from our window.
The breakfasts were great! Choice of a dozen different salads, fresh fruit, fish, cheese, omelets, scrambled eggs, scalloped potatoes, pancakes, cheese borekas, yogurts, cereal, juices, coffee, and cocoa. The fresh rolls were delicious and plentiful - we made sandwiches for lunch and that took us through most of the day.
We found the Kosher food to be good and reasonably priced in the restaurant - huge grilled tuna sandwich on club with french fries and fresh salad was only around $13 (we split it - there was enough for two), and it only costs an additional 10 shekel (about $2.50, to have room service, with the food priced the same as in the restaurant) - so after a long day of touring, we opted to eat in our room instead.
They do charge for wifi access - expensive and unacceptable in this day and age. If enough people complain, they'll probably change that eventually.
We went by cab to the old city of Jerusalem - for 30 shekel (about $8.00).
We were on a business trip, and the conference rooms were set up nicely - several large rooms and enough meeting rooms.
The staff was professional and competent, not effusively friendly (but that's typical for that part of the world).
We enjoyed our stay.
Room Tip: 12th floor rooms had access to a business center with free coffee.
