Although I had only made an "economy" booking, they upgraded me to a balcony room with an incredible view of the harbor. Fully multilingual staff. My lack of Hebrew was no obstacle as the gentleman who checked me in was fluent in English and Spanish and everyone I dealt with had excellent English skills.
There was a general strike going on when I checked out and since the train to Ben Gurion Airport was shut down, I had resigned myself to a $150 taxi. The lovely lady at the check out desk convinced me that the bus service would suffice. Her advice saved me about $120 and gave me an interesting adventure and some great conversations en route as well.
A great, but unfortunately too brief visit to a really nice hotel. I plan to stay here again the next time I'm in the area.
