My husband and I stayed here for one night on a tour with Isram. The hotel was clean and conveinent, but could use some updating. The rooms were large, bathrooms done in boring browns, but the bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows and nice bedding. The view towards the port of haifa was beautiful but the balcony becomes unusable because the serpentine decoration cuts out any usable space. There was an old radio built into one of the side tables. Dated decor but the rugs in the halls were very new. Breakfast was quite good as well as the gift shop.

been there for 1 night, requested and got a room with a view to the bay - wonderful view.
the hotel is old but renovated (i believe most if not all of the hotels in haifa are pretty old, around 20 years or more).
the room (standard room) was bigger then most rooms i saw in other hotels, the hotel is in a very accessible area with very nice stuff taking care of the guests.
about the food, well... if you are from israel then you may have been accustom to the food of 5 stars hotels in eilat - it's not like that. more like 4 stars, however the food was good and the whole experience was very nice.

Not worth the price tag. Rooms are old, slightly renovated. I got a room with a very nice view and it was very nice but there are steep slopes throughout Haifa that offer the same view for free. Facilities throughout the hotel could use a renovation also. Hotel staff are average - it really depends on who you speak with. I had one gentleman who was very helpful but another that could use some training in hospitality. Try other hotels first.

So many minuses at this property. Dirty rooms, old towels, short worn blankets, unable to adjust water temp in shower, ceilings & shelves in shopworn condition, no washcloths, unfriendly staff except for restaurant. An old tired hotel with a view
