I absolutely adored this place! I have never been a big fan of B&B's, but this place has totally changed my opinion.

It is located in the hills around the Sea of Galilee, and has a pretty view over the Sea.

It is run by Mr and Mrs Frenkel. Mr Frenkel is a retired journalist, and knows just about all there is to know about the history of this area of the world!

The rooms are big and pretty, the gardens are gorgeous and the village is very peaceful.

The breakfast is AMAZING - the bread, olives, jam, grapefruit are all homemade/home-grown. Best breakfast we had across all of Israel and Jordan.

There was free wifi in all the rooms.

It is really the perfect place to stay to explore the Galilee and Golan heights region. And it is much nicer than Tiberias!

About 10 minutes drive down the road there is the town of Rosh Pina which has restaurants and things to do at night time.

The only thing I would say is that you need a car if you want to stay here. We had a hire-car, and that was just perfect.

we had a wonderful stay with the Frenkels. they are so nice and the breakfast was super. we really can recommend the bed and breakfast for everybody who visits the galilee and have a car.

Etha and Erwin made us feel at home immediately upon our arrival. Our accommodation consisted of a bedroom and small sitting room, replete with the vista of their beautiful garden and olive grove overlooking the lake of Galilee.
Israeli breakfasts are some of the best I know and this was really above the norm. We had salads of several kinds, with homemade rolls, We saw Erwin coming from the garden with grapefruits just before breakfast and it was a treat to eat a grapefruit straight from the tree, plus their own pickled olives amongst other treats.

We plan to return for a restful break the next time we come to the area.

During our recent stay in Israel we spent 3 nights with the Frenkels in Korazim. It was a wonderful haven with a beautiful garden, comfortable, homey spacious rooms and great conversation at breakfast. Always good advice on places to go and things to see.

As an added bonus the breakfasts were bountiful and delicious crowned by Erwin's home made roles and breads.

What can one say - Stay here, you will love it!
