“Dirty, filthy and neglected”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2012

I got a hotel Rimonim Neptune Eilat on 01/01/12 for 3 nights.
I got the room 322, room itself small with balcony overlooking the sea and stands down.

Hard to believe that the hotel boasts of a misinterpretation of 5 stars suffer such neglect!
The room was dirty and filthy, full of dust and remnants of previous guests (half-full beer bottle in the closet, powdered food scraps on the floor ), with furniture that they have more good times in the past, a small bathroom and suffer from severe mold and mildew. Hotel heating does not work et night,
bad Service , blatantly arrogant and not particularly effective receptionist nervous and aggressive named Adriana, the Internet payment barely working ,the pool was not inviting, Location suffer loud music stalls down almost 15 hours a day. This is not a hotel of 5 stars or 4 stars, hotel needs total refresh especially among employees and management team!
Good things in the hotel is view to the Red Sea and breakfast.

“Excellent location and food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 December 2011

The hotel is a renewed one (ex Neptun).
Rooms are completely redecorated and very clean. Most of the rooms face the red sea giving a great view to start your day with.
Food was excellent with high quality and quantity.
Hotel facilities are good but not great: gym has extra charge, Jacuzzi and sauna are small and not relatively old. The pool is heated though a bit small for a fully crowded hotel.
The location of the hotel is superb. Just a few minutes walk from the shopping center and the beach. A walking distance from the promenade as well as the main attractions of the city and the airport. Great hotel even though too expensive.

Room Tip: rooms facing the beach have great view. Ask for the corner rooms (with bath) that are more spacious.

“Not a 5 starts hotel.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 December 2011

I was very disappointed from this hotel because there is a certain standard that you expect from a 5 start hotel and this one does not deliver it. The hotel is OK, very good location. The rooms are not as expected from a 5 starts hotel, the bath room is very small without a bath, the room is small, there is no rug in the room so you here furniture that are moved in the higher floor. The SPA service was bad, when we came after the breakfast (~10 AM) only the GYM instructor was available, we did not succeed to book any treatment and we left with big disappointment. The Staff service was inpetient and rude. Breakfast is good with a lot of options to choose from.

Spent 2 nights here, really nice rooms with amazing views, good housekeeping and breakfast is busy but very wide selection, there seems to be a really warm feeling at this hotel, the PR manager is an asset

“Good hotel on the North beach, right where the action is.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 October 2011

The hotel is nice and very clean. The Israeli breakfast was exceptional with many kinds of cheese and cakes and pancakes, everything fresh. Dinner was also very good.
The swimming pool is quite regular, nothing fancy, but clean and well serviced.
Sometimes in the mornings it has large floats for kids. There is music in the lobby in the evening and even had a nice acrobatic show, The only minus is that Wifi is very expensive at 65 shekel per day. There are 2 internet kiosks in the lobby at 5 shekel per half-an hour.
The hotel is located close to the western end of the North beach, where the pedestrian pathway is narrow and overcrowded with small makeup hut shops.
