I don't feel this hotel is up the the standard it advertises. We needed three visits to the front desk to check in properly. The 1st room was not in order, the 2nd wasn't at the level booked, and each time I was required to go down to the lobby to straighten this out. Other hotels we have stayed in would have sent up a member, especially since my wife was pregnant and we were only in for 24 hours to enjoy a short stay. When booking a 2nd night I was required again to spend a lot of time dealing with staff and front desk. The hotel was not even busy. In my experience client service is the utmost importance if you want to call yourself a 4 or 5 star hotel (and we are not very picky clients). I was offered a coffee or lunch to make up for spending an obscene amount of time dealing with what should have been automatic. If I were running such a resort I would have offered a free night or money back. We even spoke with the PR rep and all we were offered is an apology and coffee. My wife and I work internationally and stay in many hotels and resorts - we both agreed we would not return to this hotel. The grounds and rooms are in great shape and the setting is wonderful but as far as management and service go - I think this hotel needs quite a a bit of work.
