Hotel is nice. Large swimming pool. Non smoking hotel however pool is outside so smoking there is common and disturbing non smokers. Life guard is smoking also...
Breakfast and dinner are excellent and very tastey.
10 minutes walking to beach.
Somtimes parking is full.
Kids club and shows are nice for kids. Ask the DJ to lower the volume...

Will come again.

We stayed in the Royal Tulip Hotel in Eilat for 3 nights, first November weekend . couple with 3 small children (81/2, 61/2, 2 y.o.)
The Hotel has nice facilities, like a big kids place with activities most of the day.
We have breakfast and dinner meals. They were good.
The swimming pool water was too cold to get in. That was a real problem. kids were sad... (we suggested them to take care of it...).
It's location is not far from the beach, but you have to walk like 10 - 15 min.
In the overall, it is a good choice, specially the rooms were clean and housekeeping came everyday...
No WIFI even in the lobby !
We bought for the kids some yogurts and milk and keeped in the fridge of the room (they have the mini bar empty, quite nice to keep drinks cold).

i came to this hotel to have a nice time but that was the only thing i didnt had, the managers arent helpfull the staff didnt knew english, only one waiter helped me and he was very helpful the others guys were idi*ts. the manager of the diningroom was also unhelpfull and they dont know how to treat the guest. hate this hotel ill never come back. worse vacation ever. thank you royal [...] tulip

We prepaid our travel agent for 25 nights, for a 2-bedded room, half-board at the Fattal Chain's Royal Tulip Eilat. We were at the hotel a couple of days when a night receptionist told us that midway through our stay we would have to change hotels as they were closing for repairs. We are not young. To make us re-pack and then get used to another hotel was more than distressing. We asked if we were to be upgraded to the Leonardo Plaza (also part of the Fattal Chain) and we were laughed at. So we asked about upgrading us to the Fattal Magic Palace. No, they wouldn't do that, either. They said we had to go to the Golden Tulip Privilege. The only Privilege was leaving there. The management of the Fatal Royal Tulip Eilat was deceitful in not informing us straightaway that it was closing during the period we were booked. We will never again stay at this hotel because of the untrustworthy management.
