This hotel is now called Wallabies Victoria. It is very old and dillapidated. Room was very basic and old but reasonably clean. Owner was friendly but very pushy in selling you all kinds of things such as dinner in the hotel. To be fair, the dinner was worth it. However, he tried all kinds of tricks to make you order more and more. He also tried all kinds of tricks to attract customers, such as displaying too-nice pictures of the hotel rooms and even displaying a swimming pool. Free all-day Internet was the best feature of this place. Still I would pay just a bit more to have a newer and more comfortable place. Breakfast was reasonable. The owner should upgrade the place and practise more honesty.

We arrived at the Wallabies Hotel after an exhausting Anzac Day and what a relief! We were pıcked up from the bus station at an ungodly hour and welcomed by all the family. The owners carried our very heavy packs up to our room and insisted we sleep and sort out all the admin stuff in the morning. After a late breakfast they gave us a free transfer to Ephesus and helped us organise our bus tickets and accomodation for the next leg of our journey. Wallabies was so friendly and helpful - we just couldnt thank them enough!

The Victoria Hotel, under new management as Wallabies Hotel is a great value. The hotel is in the center of town but has a very nice friendly staff. The couple who are managing the hotel are friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were great. The hotel has an elevator that was always working, however, for us North American's, we have to remember to add 1 to each floor number. They had a great view of the storks nests and the St. John Castle. There are a lot of options for dining on the street level near the hotel.

The bathrooms were the best that I'd seen so far in Selcuk and I've stayed in many hotels in Selcuk. I'd rate the Victoria - Wallabies - as one of the best. The price was great too. We paid $25 a night for a double room but it was worth more.
