Apartment very well located (5 to 10 minutes walk from all the classical monuments) in a very nice and typical in a very quiet street (sic). Two mosques nearby are less known but worth a visit ... Groceries, bakery and restaurants (very good value for money!) less than 5O m (another street): very practical!
Very comfortable beds and friendly welcome !

For family reunion we stayed at Emirhan Inn for 2 unforgettable weeks. We were picked up from Ataturk Int airport at 10 pm provided by Emirhan Inn, we were greeted by staff so warmly, since we arrived in our room every thing was so clean, neat and comfortable, very happy for staying at Emirhan Inn. 2 Spacious bright and heated rooms with living room, 2 TVs, and nice size kitchen with fridge, big enough for 4 adults, plus washing machine, wifi, The staff were available entire time with smiley face. Best location at historical Sultanehmet area, a hidden gem with traditional and nice restaurants to dine in. Walking distance to Marmara sea and historical monuments,Will go back to Emirham Inn again and recommend strongly. Can't beat the price, location and comfort, but no elevator. I stayed at the Emirhan Inn Apartment for a long weekend 1-4 April 2011. The room was very clean and comfortable, the location was excellent and the people running the Emirhan were very friendly and helpful.

The Emirhan is on a little sidestreet called Odev Sokak literally just round the corner from the little Sofia mosque (built in the 6th century!). Odev Sokak doesn't feel at all touristy but is actually very close to all the things a first time visitor would want to visit - so for me this was the perfect place to stay. All the main tourist attractions such as the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sofia etc, are only ten minutes walk away and there are great bars and restaurants on Akbiyik Cad.

Tip 1: when you unlock the front door pull it towards you a little and then push.

Tip 2: take some earplugs. This close to the mosques you might be woken by the morning call to prayer on Saturdays. Unless you want to be woken by the morning call to prayer of course!

We had a confirmed booking at Emirhan apartment is within walking distance of all the sights in the Old City and is very spacious with two bedrooms and a seperate living area. The free wifi came in very handy and it was a plus that the main bedroom has a view of the Sea of Marmara.
