“Great hotel with wonderful location and superb staff!”

I am from Russia. We stayed in Bilinc Hotel in January.
The hotel conquered us with it location, incredibly helpful staff and an excellent price!
Staff is extremely friendly; all our requests were realized with pleasure with very high quality and fast. Arrival and departure took literally seconds.
In a room was excellent wifi signal! The hotel is quiet and cozy. The room was cleaned daily, all the time we had new soaps and shampoos.
Nearby tram station, a lot of great shops with good leather goods and gold, within walking distance of the Grand Bazaar, Istanbul's majority of sights in 20 minutes walking distance.
The next time we go to the same hotel.

We have just returned from Istanbul, the city was amazing and huge and Bilinc hotel was the best choice we ever made. Me and my sister are very thankfull to the staff because of their endless help! They were reaally kind and you can reach them every single hour. Our room was so clean and the toilets, towels etc were great too. Also the hotel is totally in the heart of Istanbul, you can easily walk to the most popular historical places... Bilinc Hotel: Dank je wel :))

“Cosy hotel, warm people, excellent location!”

Hi guys!
I stayed in this hotel with my boyfriend last week. As you know it is hard to find an affordable and cosy place to stay in Istanbul. When you enter, the lobby will charm you anyway :) And I can say that you'll love Turkish breakfast! The location is excellent, you can easily reach the Grand Bazaar and the Blue Mosque by walk which are both wonderful by the way there are lot to see in Istanbul. The price was reasonable for the standarts, the rooms were clean, especially linens and toilets (those are what I am looking for an hotel) and it has got cosy and warm atmosphere as well as good hospitality. For us transport service from airport to the hotel was very useful when you consider how much taxi costs and the airport-city distance.
Well, we stayed for four nights and I can say that we'll definitely choose this hotel for our next visit!

“would not recommend”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 October 2011

my husband and I stayed at this hotel, as part of a package, put together by travel agent. We stayed one night, 6th Oct, before a cruise holiday and one night, 17th Oct after the cruise. We did not enjoy the experience and would find it hard to say anything positive about the place. The exception would be it's convenience, right in the heart of the old part of Istanbul.

Due to it being part of a package deal, I do not know what the cost was, but I reckon it can't have been much. Tiny, dirty, old fashioned rooms, with paper thin walls and I mean paper thin. Absolutely every sound from within the hotel came through to our room, with the result that we were kept awake all night, both nights.

The window on our bedroom faced out on to the street. The window measured about four feet wide and th single threadbare curtain measured about three feet, letting the street lights in all night.

On the evening of the 17th Oct, we booked a taxi, thru the hotel, to take us to Ataturk airport for the following morning. We requested it for 8am, but the receptionist suggested 7.30am, which we agreed to. However, she omitted to tell us that breakfast didn't start until 7.30am, thereby leaving us without.

Breakfast buffet was in the process of being put out when we arrived down. On seeing us, the food was promptly taken back in from view and the lights switched off. When we asked about this, we were told we couldn't eat until 7.30. The time was 7.15.Really bad pr.

Room Tip: try a different hotel
