I have been at this hotel for a very short stay, but I could appreciate the room (mid size but clean), the location (not to far from Ataturk Airport but far enough not to be disturbed by airplanes) and the extremely useful minibus (free) from-to the city center: this let me pay a short visit to the old city though having only a few hours free after business and before flight.
Really a good compromise, all at all.
Only bad news is the cost of limo from/to airport, but you can easily take a taxi and spend half the price.

We stayed at the Novotel on our recent trip to Istanbul. The room was clean - the breakfast buffet ( included) was great, the staff VERY helpful. They arranged free transportation for our group of 6 to go to a different restaurant every night. One desk clerk let me use his personal guide to Istanbul. Free internet in the lobby.

the breakfast and service was excellent but expensive, employees are very kind and helpful, parking service is excellent. room service is ok. I came with my collegue and everytime I have explain that his costs is for my account and they always look surprised. You have to sign everytime! Finally everything was ok and I will come back.

The rooms are decent and the staff is courteous although the hotel has a somewhat odd location. There is little located in the vicinity of the Novotel (except the Ibis), but we weren't very far from the Galeria and Carousel malls. The airport is close (which is why we chose this hotel). Look for specials on room rates to improve the value of this hotel.
