Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, the rooms were cleaned every day, the staff were welcoming and friendly, the pool and gym were being re-furbished so did not use them,the pool was very small but ok for a dip i suppose, the breakfast was good plenty on offer eg. eggs cheese salami salad cereal bread cakes ect.. the only bad thing was the constant noise from the traffic and passers by..( If you are going to stay here take ear plugs.) The Hotel is a good base for the Trains and Trams to travel around Istanbul,But would not like to walk around the area alone at night.

Terrible place to stay I would not recommend this to my enemey! Below is a summary of the hotel.
1. Pool- was very small and dirty
2. Staff- Didn't speak anything but Turkish and was not friendly. The car service that they recommended to the hotel was a rip off.
3. Breakfast- Very minimal, no real hot food
4. Gym- Extremley outdated and small. The staff charges 30 Lire or around $20 a to use th treadmill. What a great deal!
5. Minibar- didn't exist and the fridge was broken
6. Room- outdated, small, dirty and noisy.
7. Bathroom- outdated and really dirty
8. Hotel Location- poor location, ton of street noise, didn't feel like a safe location.
9. Price- well overpriced.
10. Airconditioning- Didn't exist and the hotel claims to have airconditioning.
11. Maidservice- Terrible the room was poorly cleaned
12. Asked for a kniff to cut fruit and they wouldn't even provide it!

I would not recommend this hotel to my enemies. The hotel is rated 4 star however it shouldnt be even 1. The staff are very unfriendly and do not help. I luckly stayed here for only 1 night from our 9 nights stay with my wife and two daughters both aged under 3 years old. Rooms very small and dirty and staff service was very unfriendly. Hotel would not even provide an empty plate to put baby food into and did not have any services for warming food.

Pool is free, but smelly, hence couldnt step inside and all other services i.e. turkesh bath are changed at premium rates.

Hotel is said to be near the Grand Bazaar but infact is almost 30 mins walk away.

Breakfast is very basic.

Just returned from 6 nights in this hotel, 4 persons, 2 rooms.
Rooms: size was large enough and arranged well. We found that there are 2 types of rooms. Some rooms face an internal narrow space that provided uncomfortable feeling and no air. Other face the street, with look to the Bosporus. We asked and moved to the Bosporus side, which was big and with nice view.
If you stay in this hotel, demand only upper floors with windows to the Bosporus!
There is some constant noise from the main street at all time. It was OK for us, but maybe a problem to sensitive people.
Staff: All was very polite, trying to help and please.
Location: Old city, 5 minutes walk to tram station, train station and busses. We never took taxi, just public transportation.
There are also lots of places to eat close by, even in late hours. It was cheap, clean and tasty.
The hotel has small swimming pool and sauna, but we didn't have time to use that.
