Perfectly clean, tidy, quiet, lovely staff, nice view of Zeynep Sultan Camii and Hagia Sophia while eating a nice breakfast. We were able to walk to almost everything. It is a very touristic neighborhood, but, really, if you are a tourist interested in seeing historical monuments such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar, Spice Market, Basilica Cistern, Archeologic museum, Topkapi Palace, Bosphorus tours they are all just a short walk away. I was not interested in nightlife, other than walking and seeing the monuments illuminated at night. The neighborhood seemed OK at night, as 2 women alone, while beckoned constantly to shop or eat, we never felt unsafe. We were there in the middle of a snow-filled week, certainly not the tourist season so maybe there is more nightlife in another season. Our room was small, but perfectly adequate. Our bathroom was chilly, but, to be fair I never complained about it so maybe there would have been an easy fix to the problem. Every member of staff were friendly and helpful so I am sure they would have tried. It is also easily reached from the airport by the public transportation which is 4 TL to reach the hotel (2 jetons/tokens). I would definitely stay there again.
