The hotel is very well located and the staff were friendly but the rooms are very tired and the beds were woeful. It is certainly not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel but the actual value compared to the well known chain hotels in Istanbul was not bad....just don't expect much.I had a room close to the lift and the incessant noise was bad.

What was a nicely laid out advert about this so called Hotel ...is all but a sham!.
They do not deserve a start let alone the so called 4 or 5 stars they claim to be.
We arrived at the Hotel and were directed to our room which was a like a 5x5 Shell we compalined and advised that this was not what was shown while we made the booking with booking.com So after a few hours of telling us they are totally sold out the front desk guy manages to pull out a slightly bigger room but the air con was not working and the temp was around the higher 70's we complained agian and told the Duty Manager we don't have baby cot nor is the aircon working ....he said he will give us something tommorow....and that the so called air con was at maxmum and that they don't have central A/C and its only an air blower with little cooling....we were flabergasted .....two kids crying their lungs out coz they can't sleep coz the room temprature was impossible to sleep in .....so they finally managed to get another room after I told the duty manager we are leaving the dump!!! so he comes back after an hour and finds us a room which was in no way cooling ...but the kds were tired and had to sleep ....woke up in the morning to find out my daughters bedding was wet of sweat she was complaining of headache we thought it was just her being tired ...after breakfast we had to rush her to to the Hospital cause she had thrown up everthing she ate........she was sick due to the horrible room she stayed in....we have hospital bill as well.

after our return from the Hospital I demanded the Manager to get me a room that works with an A/C that cools ...he then informs he ( and i have this on video) that since yesterday their AC has not been working and its only been the fan from the vents...

Needless to say we stormed out of this pathetic Property paid them for one night of a horrible experince and checked ourself into the Ceylan Intercon where both my kids are finally getting some peaceful sleep with proper aircon and facilities.

In summary they are liars they will show you a nice room on booking they will not give you that room, they will not admit they are having problems with their infrastructure...they have really OLD OLD OLD outdated furrniture and fittings.....see some pics attached>>

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE IF TRIP ADVSIOR KEEPS THIS HOTEL ON THEIR LIST OF PROPERTIES THEN TRIP ADVSIOR SHOULD HAVE A HEADING TO INFORM PEOPLE THIS IS A PROPERTY THAT SHOULD BE IN HELL

My experience with this hotel is what all of us travellers fear when booking a hotel with a credit card. The hotel incorrectly charged my credit card although I cancelled far in advance within the hotel cancellation policy. Twice the hotel manager claimed that the refund was made however this was not true. On numerous occasions he promised to make the refund. The demand to provide a proof - bank statement - was not met. After two months still no refund. An untrustworthy hotel to be avoided.

Stayed here as looking for a cheaper option than those more popular names like Conrad and Swissotel.
It is shown as a 5 Star, and boasts free wifi access across the hotel, as well as a 'rock cafe' bar.
My room was spacious, clean, and well maintained - in fact one of the better quality rooms, even when compared to the big names.... but it is not 5 Star quality.
The Wifi was very poor in the room, but worked great in the lobby bar.

Breakfast was a nice spread, and no complaints.
The only staff who tried to make some conversation was the barmen... the rest were polite but made no effort to be anything more.
I ate in the lobby bar a couple of times, and I have to say the food was great.
Definetly recommend the steaks.

The local village is bussling with bars and restaurants, and well worth a visit.
You get to see the full size of the road bridge.

I am afraid to say that despite being slightly cheaper that its main rivals I wont be staying here again.
If it was closer to a ferry point (our office is on the Asian side of Istanbul), then I might consider it.

They really need to try a little harder.
