I had an ok stay at this hotel, but it is not in my opinion a 5* hotel (and was rather expensive). The best thing about this hotel was its location, being only a 2 minute walk from the restaurants and cafes and waterfront area in Ortakoy.

My room was nice, and clean, but the aircon didn't work properly and was very noisy. Try to get a room at the side of the hotel, as noise from the main street goes on until very late. If there are wedding celebrations in the hotel they are held around the pool area, so I would advise that you don't get a room facing the pool either! The music at the weddings was very loud!

There was a good selection at the breakfast buffet, and also the lunch buffet if you choose to try it. The pool looked nice, but had such short opening times that I was unable to use it (open from 10am until either 4 or 5 pm).

While I could write a very long review as was put at this hotel for 4 nights and saw lots of flaws, the main problem is that it is in no way geared toward international guests. I think many of the domestic travelers were actually happy with this property.

The rooms are ok if you are lucky. We had mixed bag as we were several rooms and many were not satisfied at all. The breakfast was terrible compared with other experiences in Istanbul.

Would never rate this hotel above a 3 star and would not recomend it in any way.

This old hotel is very well located in Otorkoy area near Bosphorus bridge joining continents of Europe and Asia. Although rooms are ok, they are quite old and this hotel needs a renovation. Being right on a crowded road lot of noise comes to the room and night sleep may not be peaceful. Nothing great to write about this hotel except the location.

The hotel is very well located and the staff were friendly but the rooms are very tired and the beds were woeful. It is certainly not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel but the actual value compared to the well known chain hotels in Istanbul was not bad....just don't expect much.I had a room close to the lift and the incessant noise was bad.
