The views over the city from the roof top bar are fantastic,even if the bar itself is not. The hotel is not a 5 star place to stay, more like a safe 3 star in terms of quality.The hotel does need a bit of clean up and I am not sure I would return here in a hurry.Breakfast is OK, the airport shuttle is good, but overall a disappointing experience.

The views from the top floor are truly spectacular and worth a visit. Unfortunately I was only on the second floor and the windows were absolutely filthy! The hotel is pretty run down and the bedroom equipment had seen better days. Food was ok and the staff pleasant on the whole, although the front desk all need cheering up!

Normally stay at the Hilton decided to stay at Plaza for a change. will now be using this hotel for all my visits to Istanbul. great hotel, great staff, well located and very good value for money.

I had a 2 day stay here over the weekend and before i went read the reviews. I was not expecting much ............ but what i got was very good.
The airport shuttle was on time.
The hotel check in was smooth and quick.
The staff were friendly and obliging.
The room on the 10th floor was clean and comfortable.
The WiFi was excellent and i logged in easily and outr company VPN is very fussy.
The swimming pool was cold but the sauna and hot tub were excellent.
I had my first mean in the small bistro area. This was not very good but o/k for the money.
Breakfast on Monday was excellent and something for everybody.
The second nights meal was in the Pub. This was very good and was simple fresh and tasty.
It's worth a trip to the rooftop bar to enjoy the view.
All in all i would recommend this hotel.
If you dont want to use a taxi into town turn left out of the hotel and walk ~200m. You can buy a Metro Bus ticket (get a double) and hop on a bus to Kabatas, Cost 5TL for a double.
From there it's a 2TL tram to anywhere on the network including most of the tourist sites.
