The main feature in this hotel is its location: nice view, in front of a metro station, close to nightclubs. The staff is nice, the rooms are clean, the bed is very good, but the shower was a little tricky. Breakfast in okay. I liked this hotel very much and I would stay here again. Note: if you pay for a round transfer from airport, you should pay as soon as you arrive in order to have a 5 euro discount. Very good hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay there. Great location, unbelievable view from the terrace. Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was undergoing renovation during our stay and it looked it was going to be even greater. Definitely will stay there again on our next trip to Istanbul.
Some minor glitches (like not being able to get in our room because of key card problems, loose toilet seat) held me back from giving a full 5 out of 5, but those were fixed in a timely manner. Just go ahead and give it a try. You won't regret it.

A small hotel in a five-story building, with only a few rooms on each level. It perfectly placed at the beginning of Istiklal Caddesi, the main street of Beyoglu, between the entrance to Sishane Metro station and the nostalgic tramway line. The surrounding is full of small stores, restaurants and (obviously) tourists. In the evenings it is quite noisy.

The rooms are very small, but clean and sufficiently equipped. There was a renovation recently. The bathroom is a little bit too small and less carefully maintained. The staff is friendly, but not very well trained and not necessarily speaking English.

A big advantage of this hotel is the bar at the roof of the building. The hotel is placed on a hillside, which results with a beautiful view on the roofs of the other buildings, including Galata Tower, the Golden Horn bay and it's other side with the historical buildings on the horizon. The bar is open in the evenings and in the mornings (the breakfasts don't offer a lot of choice through).

I just got back from 3 days here. I am not usually one to complain and I have never written a negative review before.
Let me do Pros first -- because that is easy: Location.
Why this place stinks: They say free transfer from the airport -- but they never picked me up or responded to my emails. So I had to pay 40 Lira for a taxi.
First night we had no air condition and so we had to keep our windows open and listen to the VERY loud seagulls all night. The room was super hot too.
They moved us to another room, and there was no where to attach the shower head to the wall. So you had to hold it in the shower the whole time, which resulted in me soaking the entire bathroom.
They did laundry for me, but it didn't come back dry!
In general, the people that work there are nice but not able to help you with anything. Avoid this place. Trust me. I couldn't wait to get home and call them out on their BS.
