Friendly people, perfect location, clean rooms ... We were really suprised how good our stay had been.

We stayed at Golden Crown for 3 three nights after transferring from another similar hotel, which was terrible. We decided to move to Golden Crown because at the same price we got better stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were quite nice and clean, the location of the hotel is near to the old city and you may easily walk to any attraction.

I spent 10 magnificent days in Golden Crown Hotel Istanbul and I could not have been looked after better than I was in this hotel. I arrived as a guest but was treated as a friend/family member by all the staff especially Sales & Marketing Manager, Demet and Nilgun, General Manager. They were so friendly and helpful and seen that our honeymoon stay was a apecial occasion. The other staff Memet, Kurban, Recep and Kann were equally helpful and friendly and nothing was too much for them to ensure our stay was a memorable occasion! It is ideally located and the accommodation and food was excellent. Thank you all so much for making our visit a 'home-from-home'...I look forward to my return visit to my new Turkish 'family' in Golden Crown, much love and many thanks, Anne & Neset xxx

The rooms are well laid out, and are a good match for city travellers who treat it as their "crash pad". Unfortunately the aircon in our room didn't allow cooling, so it got quite sauna-like during the night (even in Turkish winter). The bathroom light transformers (?) are making a hell of a noise, so I found it difficult to sleep even with the noise of lights in the neighbouring room. Location is great, just a short walk from Cemberlitas tram station.
