Hotel is quite decent, breakfast buffet is fine (though they could really use some good real juice instead of the sugary drink masquerading as juice). I read reviews and asked for and received a room away from the street (very noisy).
Since I have checked in, the internet has worked without problems only one day. When I checked in there were consistent problems and I had to log in to the wireless system 60 times (give or take) in two hours. It was OK yesterday (though I was out most of the day) and today it has come and gone again--again with continued requests to log in and often no response at all. As others have written, the front desk staff is indifferent at best (some of this has to do with their limited knowledge of English. I asked where I could take a nice walk this morning and they told me that there was an internet cafe down the street.
Also beware: If you come here with luggage, there are 16 fairly steep steps you have to climb.
The hotel is not bad overall. A few touches (working internet, a lift or a pathway for luggage, free water in the bathroom so you don't have to go out and buy some yourself so that you can brush your teeth, and a more welcoming staff) and the hotel would get three stars.
