Very friendly and helpful staff. Good facilities and the roof top view is exceptional. Our room was changed hurriedly as the one allocated, a nice large room, was occupied, our changed room was cramped but functional. Several of our companions did complain of their rooms being too hot but ours was fine.
The situation is spot on. A good but not great hotel.

we loved the Hotel and its kitsch harem chic decor , the attentive staff , amazing breakfasts and great views .It also seemed very reasonably priced considering its gymn and mirrored swimming pool , glamour not found in similarly sized Hotels .Great place to take a break and explore the multiple archaeological sites and markets .Mary and Simon Crowt

This hotel was recommended by a friend in Australia, who said it was well located and very comfortable. I was not disappointed. The rooms met all our requirements, breakfast was exceptional (also with excellent views of major landmarks), and service was great (with staff providing useful advice on trams etc to see varoius landmarks. The gym and pool and sauna in the basement was good for relaxing, in between sight-seeing!
Without any prompting, the hotel staff recogised my wife's birthday with a cake at breakfast, which was a nice touch.

I will stay here again when next in Istanbul.

New rooms are not as good as the old , first floor was very noisy could hear rooms above as well as next door. Breakfast was great apart from having to pay for orange juice .Very odd for a so called 4 star hotel.Staff in restaurant / breakfast room were friendly and helpful.Reception ws hit and miss depending who was on. Good food in the restaurant. Rooms were very clean but pillows were like a rock. If sleep is important to you due to the excessive noise levels from other rooms at night I would go else where. Location was good.
