This is my favourite place in Istanbul; I am a regular since 2004. I simply love it !
It's basically a bouquet pension, has not got the frills of a fancy big name hotel. No TV (who cares ?), gym, etc but free WiFi, a nice garden, nice elegant interiors and its own restaurant.
The place is very well located. I go there mainly for business and after dinner, when I am at last free, I can enjoy a pleasant walk to the Hypodrome, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia (just around the corner) or to one of the many hammams to "steam off" literally.
Suitable for a mature single traveller or a couple on a romantic trip.
Unfit for families with kids. Not recommended for a long stay.
Sleep quality is so-so due to the curtains which do not block light and at dawn you get the wake up call from the muezzin.
Rooms are quite small but on the other hand if you spend there a couple of days, it's acceptable.
Breakfast buffet is quite limited, and repetitive.
Price is quite high though, they take advantage of the location (it's just across from the Four Seasons and I think they have benchmarked their prices accordingly) better to book directly and ask for a good price which you can get in certain low season periods.
