I have to say I've never experienced service like this. Loved the staff at the Witt - they are totally helpful and informative. The hotel is great. The steep hill that everyone goes on about is fine and good exercise for one's bottom! Large rooms - very comfortable. No baths which was a bit sad (just showers) but this was not the end of the world. Well situated. Just B&B but staff really helpful about which restaurants to visit both in the immediate area and Istanbul at large. Really had a great time. Highly recommended.

We chose this hotel to end our 3 week tour of Turkey. We had already had 3 days in Sultanahmet at the beginning of our trip and decided that Beyoglu would give us anouther dimension of Istanbul. Furthermore we wanted something hip and luxe. Witt suites met all the criteria. Our suite was on the 5th floor and despite it being a city view room we could see the Bosphorus to the Galata Tower. The room was spaciuos and well fitted out. The breakfast scrumptious and relaxed. You really do feel priviledged staying here. One night we decided to eat in and use our kitchenette facilities and this allowed us to just relax after a busy day in Nisantasi. We visited Dolmabahce Palace...Easy walking distance and very interesting.
Taksim easy walking distance. Cihangir where the Hotel is situated has small supermarkets and cafes worth trying....just walk up the hill towards Taksim.

The first thing we noted about the Witt was the very sincere welcome at checkin and that sincerity continued with every interaction with every staff member. This hotel is in a great location near Taksim Square (just a 15 min walk) but far enough away from the noise. The hotel is very contemporary with large oversized rooms and our's #42 had a fantastic view of the Bosporus. I would agree with all of the very positive comments that have preceded mine, this hotel delivered way beyond my high expectations. Fantastic job Witt Istanbul.

We have travelled a lot over the last years and we have stayed in quite some beautiful hotels all over the world. When it came to choosing a hotel in Istanbul, our choice was quickly made (thanks to the great reviews here on Tripadvisor). So what can we say about the Witt Istanbul Suites? GORGEOUS! The rooms are very large, beautifully and tastfully decorated and we straightaway felt like our stay was going to be one of a kind. We stayed in room N°53 on the 5th floor. This room seems to have a very good price/quality ration. Room N°52 is even nicer (the view is even more interesting) but more expensive too.

So if you need to choose for a hotel in Istanbul and you want to get away from large chains like Hilton etc., make sure to stay at the Witt Istanbul.

But all design etc by side, we have NEVER had staff as pleasant as at the Witt Istanbul. We don't remember all their names, but every single one of them was always willing to go out of their way to help us...hospitality at its best!!! We want to especially point out how pleasant Ali, Anil and Volcan were. Thanks for making our stay so pleasant!!
