Lovely boutique hotel in a surprisingly good location. We stayed there in May 2011 and came back for a return visit in December because we enjoyed it so much. The rooms are clean and spacious but we did notice a bit more wear and tear in places, as well as more 'noise' than before - the outside aircon units seemed to purr throughout the night. The staff can't do enough to help and we found them very accommodating and kind, especially for our early, early departure to catch a plane back to Malaysia. We'd stay there again but hope that the little niggles won't be left to become bigger ones...

This was my 4th trip to Colombo and I have stayed in a couple of lovely hotels that I would have been happy to return to, and which cost less than Park Street Hotel. So, at first I was reluctant to spend the extra money but I decided to give it a try. Am so pleased I did. I love this hotel! The rooms are enourmous and very tastefully designed. Yes, some wear and tear was evident - like water stains on the ceiling - however nothing that bothered me. The deep jazuzzi bath is a delight after a day of walking around busy Colombo. The courtyard features a pool, which is a perfect size for swimming laps. The service is by far better than any of the other Colombo hotels I have stayed at - they were attentive, efficient and friendly without being intrusive. I had dinner on the terrace two nights and it was beautiful both times. I had the Sri Lankan curry bowl one night, which was absolutely delicious. And it's such a beautiful setting in the evening. I booked the hotel for my first two nights in Sri Lannka and enjoyed it so much that I changed my travel plans so that I could return and spend my final night here. I'll stay here again, for sure.

the hotel is more like a beautiful home...intimate and personal- with great service and location as an added bonus. we stayed two nights and enjoyed the unbelievably spacious rooms and the beautiful setting of the villa amongst frangipani trees and the vivid blue of the pool. breakfast was freshly prepared and the yogurt and fruit bowl was especially refreshing! we requested for the sri lankan breakfast the night before and enjoyed the wonderful local flavors immensely. would highly recommend the property for those looking small, stylish and local experience.

Our first trip to Sr Lanka after 5 weeks in India as well as many trips worldwide and can say you cannot find a better place to stay than this! We ended up staying one additional day because the place is just wonderful. Clean, large rooms, many with jacuzzi tubs and all with plenty of sitting room. The 2 suites have antique charm but you don't need to worry if they are full, just relax, enjoy the pool, the food and the really superior staff. Take time to meet the chef, have a quiet meal in the garden and really enjoy the place. Good neighborhood to walk in, just unable to say enough good about it. The pool is wonderful. Going back when we finish with out travels in Sri Lanka and any other time we are in Colombo.
