I have stayed a few time in this hotel.I really enjoy the ambience of the hotel.The rooms are good abnd comes with a sea view.The restaurant has variety of foods .The sri lankan lunch spread on saturdays were delicious and great for the money spent..The bar had good varieties of whiskys and a good range of both lical and imported beers.The receptionist made my day by allowing me to stay until 7.00pm for my rflight to singapore.I had 3 great days at the discotheque nearby with a band performing good range of songs

I went to have dinner with my family . I was surprised by the warm welcome and the excellent quality of the service rendered. The best srilankan Dinner buffet in Colombo . Keep up with good work.

This hotel is well located for seeing colombo's top sights. The staff are friendly. The decor could do with some modernising

I had the pleasure of staying at the Ceylon Continental Hotel during my summer vacation in the beautiful island of Sri Lanka. Due to the great location the hotel is situated in, it was the right choice to choose this hotel for my weeks stay in Colombo. My room had a view worth a million worlds. I was surrounded by the lushes blue waters of the Indian ocean and a magnificent view of the Colombo city. The food was amazing. Each meal had a different theme and each dish had it's own significant mouth watering taste. Every night, the spread was different and consisted of a variety of dishes from vegetarian to non-veg. The desserts were my favorite part as I was able to taste a vase spread of international deserts and natural fruits I had never tasted before. The service at the hotel was very homely. Everyone was smiling from the time I walked in. The cafeconti has some wonderful pastries and cakes to offer along with some mouth watering lunch specials. My favorite was their "Nasi Goreng" as I had never tasted anything like it before. I was also able to be a part of their "Rendezvous" event that took place while my stay at the hotel and it gave me an excellent opportunity to meet other expats in Colombo. Their themed parties are a wonderful way to spend the night life and to let loose and have fun.
I strongly recommend this hotel to any guest looking for a hotel to stay in while in Colombo. Take my word for it, you will not regret it!
