Spent 4 days here for work. Wi-fi can be unprediactable. The BF for continental choices is limited. The staff is friendly but some do not understand english at all but all are very smiley and friendly.

My husband and i stayed at this hotel in early October 2011 and had a wonderful stay. The Hotel is new, clean with lovely large rooms and bathrooms (more like a business hotel rather than a boutique hotel). The manager Bhavin was most helpful and efficiently arranged for our transfer from and to the Airport/train station and also arranged for a motorbike (rental) for us during out stay.
The owner of the Hotel, Manu, was also most hospitable, helpful and warm.
The hotel is away from the noise of the "tourist areas" but it is just a five minute walk to get to the center of all the action.
Highly recommend this hotel for anyone who is visiting Vientiane!

Located in the centre of Vientiane, the City Inn has decent sized, clean rooms with a very calming earth/brown coloured theme. Very large and comfortable bed for a good night's sleep. Friendly and efficient service. Free WiFi but a bit slow though. The breakfast is average with only limited choice of continental dishes (but hey, we are in Laos!). Overall, the right place to stay when on a short business trip in Vientiane.

Had a great stay at the city inn. We were walk in customers and the staff gave us a fair rate which we were really pleased about. We stayed in a junior suite which was lovely. Rooms were exceptionally clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good and we also had a meal which was also very good. Location was perfect, right near all of the central sights. Staff were helpful although some more than others. Highly recommend this hotel, perfect for us!
