We stayed here at the start and the end of our trip around Kyrgyzstan. We had a standard (twin) room at the start. The room was fine - clean and functional but old fashioned. On our return, we had one of the superior rooms which was much better but still rather dated. However, after 10 days sleeping in yurts and tents, having a bed to sleep in again was a joy. The pillows that we had in both rooms were not good - very large and stiff and the hotel had no alternatives when we asked. Luckily we had travel pillows with us which we had to use. The staff were great - very polite and helpful.
We had dinner here one evening, sitting outside in the patio area which was nice. There is better food to be had at the restaurants nearby however.
The dining area where breakfast is taken is kind of weird - being in a dark basement. The choices of food for breakfast were also a little odd - on one day there was a huge selection of cakes and sweets. Fine if you have a sweet tooth but some more regular breakfast choices would have been good. The coffee was the ubiquitous nescafe which is pretty much what you get everywhere in this part of the world.
