After arriving in the middle of the night I woke up to an amazing sun-drenched view of Kyrgystan's mountains, which were no less than spectacular. I believe that all of the rooms boast such a vista, which is without question worth a great deal in itself.
I found the hotel very pleasant too, especially the staff who were to the man and woman polite and helpful and eager to be of service. The hotel is located on the leafy outskirts of Bishkek, but it is easily reachable by a 100 som (3 dollar) taxi ride. Along with its breathtaking view, the quiet rural location of the hotel is perhaps its other most attractive feature.
This is not a first class business hotel, but if you - like me - are sick to death of the usual charmless, sanitized chain of establishments which globalization has brought us, then this place may just be for you.
When I return to Bishkek I will defintely stay here again.
