We stayed one night on our way to Seam Riep. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. After a long flight we were happy to find a comfortable, stylish room with very cool furniture in our room. The only cons- beggars outside the hotel. At the time we visited, you we required to exit the hotel part to enter the restaurant area. We were bombarded each time we walked out the door. However, this is a very poor country so we were gracious when declining a tuk-tuk ride or merchandise. Cambodia is HOT! Not kind of hot, very, very hot. The room AC was trying to cool the room off but it failed miserably. It was not until early morning that the room began to feel comfortable. Each time you leave your room, the AC shuts off (room key activated).
The restaurant was good, the staff attentive (a little over attentive) but we found this the norm with finer dining.
Overall, the view is worth a return trip. The location is perfect for walking to near by attractions such as the Golden Palace or Museum.
