“Nice hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

Clean rooms with a nice pool and large outdoor area with plenty of room for everyone. The breakfasts were good and the staff were helpful. The decor in the lobby resembled that of something very chinese with lots of yellow and red - it was a bit tacky. The only let down was the location. Although it's only a $2 or $3 USD tuk tuk to Sisowath Quay it is a decent distance.

“Great tuk tuk, good value, bad location”

We stayed 2 nights in Juliana hotel during a 3 weeks trip in Vietnam and Cambodia. The hotel is alright (for the price I guess). The rooms are kind of Asian business hotel like, modern and clean. Main downside is the location, it is kind of somewhere in nowhere. However, it won't bother you that much when you get the right tuku tuk driver during your stay! We can highly recommend Mr. LA, he is hired by the hotel (No 4 hotel sticker) and his number is 012 41 50 40. He is super friendly and reliable. In case you sightsee with him, say to him from the guy with the shirts & chocolate. Use him to visit Tuol Sleng, the killing fields, shopping at the Russian market or any dining trip.

“Nice room and staff, shame about the breakfast roaches....”

Stayed here on my own for 4 nights, used as a base to go to Angkor etc. Room was nice, didnt have evening meal, staff were friendly and helpful, and having the Tuk-tuks outside was handy. Although, they still try and rip you off with a ridiculous price to the 'killing fields' memorial. Taxi to Ankgor was very cheap, but very time-consuming, as the road is single lane, all the way! Once there, hire a Tuk-tuk to take you round all day for very reasonable price. My main gripe was at breakfast, i was filling my glass with water, when a cockroach jumped off the table, reflexes demanded i stamp on it, which was viewed by 3 staff members, who laughed. Another ran out, but disappeared and yet they did nothing......?

“Clean and quiet hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 September 2011

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights on a sightseeing tour.
The hotel is clean, no luxury, but comfortable. I had a quiet room (pool side) which was of modern design although the bathroom was old fashioned.
Buffet for breakfast and dinner was very good (large choice of asian and european dishes).
The pool is nice and there is also a spa. I tried the thai massage which was very good, even better than most in Thailand.
It's not in the center of PP, but tuk tuks are cheap and you can get to central market by foot.
Good bets in PP are Elephant Bar at Raffles Hotel and Khmer Surin Restaurant (need a tuk tuk, but great).
