i really had nice time there....rooms r good and cheap but above all staffs rare helpful and they are concerned about the security of the customer.......this was really amazing part of their management....it was really good to be there.....i would really love to come back in this hotel again.....
its really hard to find a cheap and good hotel but i dont think that we can get a cheap and good hotel like this...

I had a great time at Hotel Pacific. The staff is very friendly. They do everything to make your stay remember-able! They have a wide range type of rooms. I can recommend Hotel Pacific to everybody who comes to Dhaka! I really felt like home!

I have stayed at the Pacific for two nights in October 2011. The rooms are nothing to write home about - very basic. But the staff was very helpful and happy to assist. They have organised both airport transfers as well a trip to Sonargaon and a City tour of Dhaka (1000 Take per 4 hours).
At breakfast you have the choice of continental or bangladesh food.Free internet in the lobby.
I have had an a/c room, but the a/c didn't worked - I have not complained, because the a/c looked very old and it would be very noisy when working, I guess. The not-working a/c was no problem, as the fan worked very well. For the room I would rate 2, for the staff I would rate 5 - so overall I rate 4 for the Hotel Pacific.

Stayed here almost a week. Staff is friendly & helpful & safe, enthusiastic about my cycling. Rooms are different so check several before you decide. Some have big rooms/small bathrooms or bigger bathrooms and very small rooms. Twins seem larger. All rooms have desk/hot shower. No need for aircon in winter. Bicyle allowed in the room. There's a lift. Rooms in upper floors are better. Restaurant is average, okay for breakfast. No top sheet so ask for it. Rooms are clean, if not, just ask... Quiet at night. Close to stadium, postoffice, best tea stalls, some shopping, some small restaurants close by. Not too cheap but good money for what you get. Would stay here next time.
