I stayed here as part of a Gap tour in December 2010. The rooms were decent, nice beds with clean sheets. The bathroom had one of those 'Asian' style showers where the entire bathroom is the shower and there is no shower curtain or divider, so you might get the toilet seat and paper wet if you're not careful. On the plus side, the water was very hot - so no problems with the shower not being warm enough.
The hotel had two pools, one very large pool which was fairly deep, and one smaller pool which was about waist deep the whole way. It was very nice to swim in, and you could also borrow these large inflatable donuts to just sit in and float around lazily in. The sides of the pool were lined with wooden banana lounges - you could also get the sponge mattress lining from inside the pool shed too. You could get towels as well, if you asked reception or the pool guy.
The breakfast at this hotel was superb - you could order as much as you wanted from a menu, which included Asian breakfast dishes such as pho (rice noodle soup with beef or chicken) and rice porridge, as well as Western breakfast such as a baguette, with cold meats, bacon, fried eggs, spreads, etc. On top of that, there was a table set up with platters of several different kinds of fruit, as well as jugs of fresh fruit juice (lemon, orange, pineapple), and coffee/tea.
Unfortunately, there was a very large amount of noise due to construction of a very tall, new building.
