Although it's well located, this was one of the worst hotels we've stayed at. First of all they had promised us a pick-up but no one was waiting at the airport (which in the end turned out to be an advantage, since the hotel charges more for the transport than normal taxis). Secondly, they gave us a room on the 1st floor overlooking the street, though we had explicitely asked for a very quiet room in advance. They first pretended not to have another room available, however we eventually could swith rooms - but we had to take the towels from the other room with us and put fresh linens on the beds (nobody helped us). What's more, small breakfast room - I would not recommend this hotel.

6 of us stayed here for 2 nights in 2 triple rooms. on arrival we there was only one room ready (which was fair enough given the time) so we went to dump all the bags and go for a wander only to find the room that was "ready" had dirty sheets and a huge cockroach in the bathroom. We asked that the room be cleaned again and the cockroach made several visits throughout our stay! when we got the key to the second room we foudn that it didn't actually lock. we were lucky that we had another room to lock our valuables in.

The hotel staff were friendly but inefficient and had to be asked several times to do things. they booked train tickets for us, but kept saying that they didn't have them to hand whenever we went to pick them up and told us we were booked on an 8am train, so we asked them to book a taxi for 7.15am, which they assured us they had. after an early start we colected the tickets, only to find that the train was 8.42am and we'd got up 40mins earlier than we had to. when we queried this, she told us that she had lied about the train time as she thought we would be late and she hadn't booked us a taxi either. this meant we had to sit downstias with no airconditioning and wait 40 minutes. also, the hotel charged us $5 per ticket, when the actual train ticket turned out to be half that price, and they hadn't got us seats together.

all in all, not a good experience and considering the much higher quality of all the other hotels in the same price bracket we used in vietnam, not worth it unless you're desperate.

We loved this hotel. It is right in the centre of town, beside lots of good places to eat. The rooms are very clean and spacious with your own mini bar...containing drinks which are really affordable. The bathroom is great. The rooms are very very quiet. You get your own balcony, free breakfast and internet access. The staff are good and best of all on the TV in your bedrrom you get lots of great english speaking channels including CNN and HBO. The best thing....all that cost $20 per night!!!!

We contacted this hotel when we were in Hanoi with their telephone number in the guide book. They came to the airport to pick up us then put us in a very nice room. We did enjoy our talks with the staff there in the next 2 days. This hotel has ideal location to walk around. Would highy recommend to you!
