We stayed here for four nights at the end of February. It was booked as part of a package, so not sure of the cost, but quite cheap. It was a short walk to the centre of town, the river and the citadel. We had a twin room with window, fridge, ensuite bathroom and airconditioning.

The first morning at breakfast was a lovely surprise. Lots of fresh local fruit (delicious), banana pancakes (heavenly), fresh bread roll and Vietnamese coffee. You could also have a variety of other typical breakfast fare. We had our best breakfasts in Vietnam here (although there were only two other hotels to compare with).

The hotel was clean and quiet . When we first arrived we found mosquitoes in the room (indeed most of our sightings of mosquitoes were in hotels - the more expensive the hotel the more mosquitoes in our brief experience). After getting the bathroom sprayed by staff and invoking our own mosquito eradication program, we had no more trouble.

There were no tours advertised in the hotel - it seemed you were supposed to use the booking agent next door. Also, the bar fridge did not get restocked , so we had to buy water outside the hotel, but there were plenty of places around to get it.
