We stayed there one night and it was a pleasant hotel. Beautifully decorated bar and hallways with pictures. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I used the spa and the massage was good. Clean. Reception area is great. The best part of the hotel is the COOK.. The food was very good. Open buffet dinner and selection of food and taste were delicious. The cook was European. He was very helpful for my daughter's wish of spagetti! Quality service at the hotel..

A characterful hotel with a charming mix of Vietnamese and French ambiance and hospitality. Not far from the centre of Hue, which is easily accessible by triclo, taxi, boat or on foot. Upgraded to room with river view but did not benefit because of poor weather.

We stayed at La Residence for one night in January 2012. I wish we could have stayed longer.
We arrived early (by train) and every effort was made to give us a room as soon as possible.
The room was spotless and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was superb and we chose the hotel's restaurant for dinner. We did not regret our choice. It was haute cuisine. Later on, we spoke to the sous chef and gave him our complements for which he was very pleased. He comes from Luxembourg. We enjoyed a pleasant couple of hours around the large swimming pool. We had a cocktail in the bar, also. There were some shops available near the restaurant. All in all, a memorable stay in an excellent hotel. We would love to return sometime. This hotel is highly recommendable.

Spend 1 night at this hotel in Hue. We were at a very charmy room - called "La Residence", on the 2nd floor. Very spacious, comfortable, beautiful. We also asked for room service, and it was fast and quite good.
Staff very nice, friendly and helpful. So far the best hotel in Vietnam I have stayed during my trip. Definitely recommended!!!
