I reviewed trip advisor to book our nights here in Hue. i am now sitting at this little (big actually) resort overlooking the perfumeriver and what an amazing location this is. Everything is at your doorstep, beautiful location and tremedously great friendly staff. I don't know why more people dont look around this great resort and notice all the amazing fixtures and great history here.. what a location. Oh and upon checking in they upgraded our room and it is huge! thanks again,

Huong Giang Hotel offers the visitor the best location for a trip to Hue. Everything that you want is at your doorstep from restaurants, shops and, of course, visits to historic attractions. We walked everywhere because it is pedestrian oriented. Both the market and the Citadel are easy walks from the hotel no need for a taxi or a cyclo. The buffet breakfast was first class and it was delicious. The staff were very professional and helpful. On our first night we had trouble with the WiFi and they quickly moved us to another room with a stronger signal. We highly recommend this hotel; it is good value for the money at $60 a night.

We stayed at Huong Giang in November as part of a tour.
The room had been booked as part of a tour,but due to me emailing the hotel before our arrival I had managed to upgrade us to a suite for $10 per room per night !
If you are able to really worth it as we ended up with a huge room,sitting room and 2 bathrooms. In addition also a river view.
All very clean and comfortable. As we were there during 2 days of heavy rain was great to have the extra space to relax & dry clothes !
Location is excellent as very near to shops and attractions.
Only downside was the food. We were warned regarding the hotel resaurant but as rain was heavy and we would have had to wade through water decided to try it out.
BIG MISTAKE this was the only bad meal we had in the whole of Vietnam. It really was truly bad.We left nearly all that we had ordered. Wish we had waded through the water to Banana Mango !
However other that the restauant a good standard of hotel.

Hotel was relativly clean just a couple of minor discrepancies with the bathroom. fridge wasnt plugged in so anything we put in was warm. We asked for a wake up call so we could get up intime for breakfast and then get to the airport and the phone was broken so we missed breakfast as we were sprinting to the airport. We recieved absolutly no appolegy and they over charged us for the mini bar, as we were running extremely late we had no time to discuss the bill so we had to just swallow it. Will never stay there again the hotel next door looked a million times better!!
