Stayed at the An An for 5 nights. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Room was large with a view to the street. The bathroom was nice and clean. Hot water was delivered for coffee whenever requested. There was a lift which is not always the case in cheaper hotels here. Breakfast was included at a cafe attached to the hotel. The location is great for the main market, the Reunification Palace, the Old Post Office, the War Remnants Museum and other tourist sites. I paid $30 per night and it was great value.

This hotel was being recommended by a lot of my friends. So I gave it a try when I was in Ho Chi Minh city. I am very picky about hotels, but the quality and value of this hotel was far exceed my expectations: spacious bed and bath rooms, free wi-fi access and cable flat TV, friendly and courteous staffs.

An an hotel is right in the centre of district 1 and a quick walk away from everything happening in HCMC! The rooms were spacious and clean and good bathroom with hot water. The service was excellent and we were given a package with breakfast - though they didn't have a breakfast option in the hotel, they gave us coupons to a cafe round the corner. The breakfast and personalized service at Cafe 333 was excellent. Good breakfast options, great vietnamese coffee and a waiter who remembered our choices made for a great start to the day.

Every eatery/ restaurant/ shops and the market were easily accessible. A great place to stay at affordable rates.

This hotel is well located in a touristy area, close to De Tham street and just 10 minutes walk to the city center. The rooms are big, bright and most of them can sleep 3 people. There is a fridge, an hairdryer, a safe, a big TV, free Wi-fi... I've been going to this hotel for 7 years and it always been very clean. It is well maintained. A few years ago, I even saw some staff painting the mortar between the ceramic tiles! The staff is also very accommodating and even allowed us to cancel a room with no fees despite that we cancelled it less than 24hours in advance. The breakfast is not provided but there are numerous places nearby where you can get a decent breakfast for 2-3$.
