What a dive.
Our room did not have a working heater. We told the front desk. They said they would fix it. They didn't. They said there was nothing more they could do and that there were no other rooms available. After refusing to pay, they found another room. I spoke with another guest about my situation and they told me that the same thing had happened to them.
Once in the new room, we had problems with the hot water. Also, the room doors have no deadbolt and our security chain was broken. That night, we got bug bites in the bed. We didn't stick around any longer. We checked out the next morning and found better accomodations.
There are no touristy restaurants nearby and the staff speaks limited english.

The only positives were the price of $55USD/night and we didn't see any rodents.

We had booked in for 10 days but only lasted 2 nights due to a flooded bathroom night and day (apparently it was our fault!), harsh only partly operational room lighting and kitch and dusty dining room.
The hotel is "smack bang" in the centre of the motor cycle repair sector and leaving the hotel during the day is quite an assault on the refractory and hearing senses.
Unfortunately no-one at the hotel spoke English.

We did not ask for a refund (prepaid), we were just happy to get out!
