This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Usually a hotel is just a roof over my head for the night but in this case, it was an oasis to look forward to after the chaos of Hanoi. ALL of the staff were super friendly and helpful. The level of English was excellent. I was given unsolicited advise on what to do and things to beware of.

The rooms are very tastefully decorated. I stayed here on two separate occasions and was upgraded to a suite both times. Even though I had a room facing the busy street, the insulation on the windows ensured that the constant tooting of horns was blocked out.

We got the rose petals on the bed and in the shower, pastries and fruit platter in the night time as well as a complementary bottle of wine.

The breakfast was a la carte but you can order as much as you like. The food was good quality.

We organized airport transfers and a overnight trip to Ha Long Bay and all of this was seamlessly taken care of.

We had a faulty laptop in our room on our 2nd stay which was replaced within 10 minutes.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Thank you to all of the staff for a very enjoyable stay.

Good location in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Staff were helpful and very pleasant. Room was a bit small and windows were very small so no view.
I would have asked for a different room however the staff had gone to the trouble of decorating our bed with flowers for our joint birthday.
Staff organised a trip to Halong Bay however the company used - Santa Maria Cruiser were new and the staff were totally inexperienced. We didn't do some of the activities on the agenda, boat was anchored for the captains convenience e.g. Location the kayaks - rather than to get a good view of the sunrise, half the reason we were all on the trip!
Manager of the hotel dealt with the issues for us and we were refunded a small portion of the cost.
Would recommend the hotel but ask for a room with windows!

After my perfect stay at the Hanoi Moment last winter, I didn't even look at other options for this year's visit to Hanoi. I wasn't disappointed! Once again, the rooms were attractive, spotless and quiet, the staff helpful, charming and efficient, and the breakfasts tasty and beautifully presented. The colorful Old Quarter of Hanoi, where the hotel is located, is loud, chaotic and potentially overwhelming, but inside the Hanoi Moment we could relax and recuperate. We stayed at the original Hanoi Moment Hotel, but out of curiosity we walked into the new Hanoi Moment II, and it looks equally nice.

I've travelled extensively in Vietnam and stayed in half a dozen different hotels in Hanoi alone, but from now on I'll always go back to Hanoi Moment. Great location and lovely rooms, but the real attraction is the staff. Friendly, genuine and helpful they made me feel welcome without ever being overbearing and nothing was ever too much trouble.
