We were tired after a long trip in South East Asia and we quite needed a place to relax, recharge ourselves and this hotel proved to be just the place. Fabulous service - we had a non refundable booking but the hotel understood our needs and decided to change the length of our stay. Yes, there is no free wifi but the half the hotel staff (or it seemed like that) got together to help out with our shopping and restaurant needs. Also, yes, the hotel is a bit far away from the center but every time we took a cab, the hotel staff got us a local one and talked to the cabbie in Vietnamese to give him directions on where to go. The breakfast buffet was excellent - it has been more a week now and I miss the spread. Best of all, we had a break in our stay - the above change I mentioned. When we came back after a night away, the lady at the reception remembered my name and smiled and gave me the room numbers right away!

This was a fabulous, new, sparkling clean hotel. The staff were wonderful, rooms big, and the food lovely. Only problem (and it's a big one) is the location. It took us almost an hour to get into/out of town from the hotel. That was painful to say the least and stopped us going out at night - all too hard. The hotel is in the new business district and wd be great if you were there for business.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Crowne Plaza. The staff were very accommodating and wanted to ensure you enjoyed your stay. I would recommend that you upgrade to club class which was 5 star. The only downside is the travel to the old town. To attract more visitors I would suggest the hotel could put on a courtesy bus to and from the old town and various times throughout the day.

Amazing room for the money and really great service. Just two negatives, no free wifi, (a basic service for me in this day and age) and far from the old town, only 6 bucks by cab though.
