We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed the whole experience. The staff were terrific, full of excellent advice for locating certain shops and organising our transport, including the price, to wherever we wanted to go. The location was so convenient to all the major tourist destinations, Breakfast and dinner was delicious-great pho and the restaurant view is spectacular! Lovely rooms, clean, quiet, well appointed. They organised our bag minding and transfer whilst we spent 2 nights in Halong Bay.

Great Hotel at a good location in the old quarter. Very friendly staff. Nice room with clean and modern bathroom. Internet / Laptop available in the rooms. Breakfast is served on the 12th floor with a nice view. On this Floor there is also a small Outdoor bar. We've been there for two nights and I absolutely recommend it.

Hanoi is a city that takes a while to grow on you - the busy streets and motorscooters are everywhere and there is so much noise and clutter. The Hanoi Elegance Diamond was a wonderful escape from the 'hustle and bustle' of the city.

Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, nice furnishings and wooden flooring, giving it a sophisticated and refined look.

The lobby staff (7) enthusiastically greet you whenever you return to the hotel and on a few occasions we were offered free ginger tea. To our amusement we had been discussing going up to their restaurant to grab a drink, but the tea arrived just as we were considering going up. It was perfect timing for us! We were also allowed to store our luggage at the hotel while we were on a cruise on Ha Long Bay, even though we were not staying any more nights upon return. Additionally, one of the staff members rushed after us as we were leaving to say good-bye. She was very enthusiastic and knew our names!

The breakfast was very nice with a wide range of Western and Asian options, including very tasty ready to order eggs and pancakes!

It very much surprises me that the Hanoi Elegance hotels are not listed in any of the guide books - they are a fantastically well run and welcoming hotel group based in Hanoi. From the people we spoke to on our cruise, it seems the same standards applies to them all.

While the hotel lacks the pool, spa and other amenities of a 5 star hotel, it certainly delivers a fantastic boutique experience and an excellent stay.

We have no regrets about staying at Diamond, (early Feb) staff went out of their way to help whenever possible. Bedrooms were a a tad small but adequate - laptop in spotless rooms. Good breakfast on 12th floor.

They stored our baggage free of chsrge when we went to Halong Bay for 2 nights,
They have a good travel agency in the foyer.
