Cam Do hotel is in Da Lat city centre within walking distance to everything. There is a club attached to the hotel so it could be noisy late at night. The hotel is popular to Vietnamese tourists.

Liked — The location is excellent, the rooms are spacious and nice for the hotel level.

Disliked — The breakfast buffet needs improvement. The food runs out quickly and some items are not replenished. The traffic noise from the street and houses next door can keep you up late and wake you early.

I wouldn't recommend it at all. Very noisy, up until midnight and at 5:30 am the noise began al over again.
The staff run around with walkie talkies but do not do anything about the noise.
There should be free internet, but if you stay on the third floor, the reach isn't strong enough. In fact, the only place in the hotel that you could have good reach was in their café ...
When we went to breakfast at 7:45am, the staff came in to our room and took off the sheets of the bed and all the towels were gone to. We saw that when we came back from breakfast at 8:30 am. We still had the room until 12 at noon.
When we checked in we mentioned that maybe we were going to stay for 3 nights or more, we weren't sure jet. No problem, they sayd. But later in the afternoon they surprisingly said that for the next day we had to look for another hotel because they were full, so why didn't they mentioned this in the beginning!!!!
When you want to speek with someone about your complaints, you get the answer: so sorry, no one here to see you.
For the breakfast, it was only vietnamese food, oh yes, there was bread and eggs, but no butter, no jam, ...
So I would say, as a European, don't go there ...

I got a room on the corner of the intersection and it was quite noisy throughout the night. The shower head had issues it would leak off the tub, so showers had to be taken pretty quickly.

The bed was not very comfortable and the location was still a bit far from the attractions.

I understand that Dalat is cold compared to the rest of Vietnam, but I missed having AC as I still found it hot.

All in all I've stayed in much nicer 3 star hotels.

DONT STAY HERE! Staff don't give a flying F! Design of building crap! Noise travels thru quadrangle like space up all floors from the lobby! Alot of the noise is the staff themselves yelling thru! When someone checks out n they need to check room.
