A great place to stay.

This hotel was recommended by our businees associate at Bangok.

The hotel is a quiet clean nice place near the sea

From the hotel lobby you will have to walk about 10 minutes to reach the rooms.

The walk through quiet path will relax you.

The rooms are nice with attached bathroom and a balcony facing the sea and swimming pool

They have a beach next to the resort.

The swimming pool and Jacuzzi is near the beah at about 60feets from the sea level and the view from swimming pool is amazing

The restaurant is next to beach and offers wide variet of food.

The fruit garde next to the resort is worth visitng.

“Poor service and poor english for the high price!”

We stayed for 2 nights in a fantastic 2 bedrooms/lounge facing the sea. From the moment we checked in we had a very lukewarm welcome verging on cold. The master bathroom was huge and the kids ( 2 and 4-year old) thoroughly enjoyed showering in the jacuzzi tub with dual shower heads. The room was fitted with flat screen TV and the beds were the biggest I've seen. Now what was missing from the room was an information folder: there was nothing in the room to describe the resort (I'd expect there'd be a lot to say) i.e. what's they were about, what to do in the resort or in the vicinity, restaurant opening hours etc. I was particularly keen to find out if like in many hotels you would get complimentary water but the only room service prices were for the alcohol and some other foods in thai.
Our first meal at the restaurant was one not to repeat. I expected a lot more from a resort supposedly child friendly. The waiters were extremely slow and not keen to help. In many restaurants I've been to, as soon as they see children they come with high chairs and plastic crockery for children (paper and pencils were too much to be expected here). Here you have to keep on asking. The food was very slow to arrive and just average. With young children I need efficient staff and not doodling ones.
I don't know what happen to the thai smile and service but we certainly haven't seen it in Birds and Bees. And forget about the thai liking children, no one came to play with ours (not that it's a requirement) but it'd have nice for them to keep them busy for min while we finished our meals.
So in a nutshell we'll come back to resort because the facilities and location are great but don't expect outstanding service.

Birds and Bees is a wonderful place to stay on your visit to Pattaya. Optimum service provided at reasonable rates. You won't feel bad about your decision, once you are there.

“Fantastic place to stay to soothe the soul in the bustle of Pattaya”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 July 2010

An hour and a half by taxi from the international airport you can be at this oasis of green, rabbits, funny anti-corruption signs, super pool, delicious food, small private beach place run to support the Population and Development Association in Thailand.

We had a lovely post flight relaxing 3 days here. Go for a 3rd floor room near the pool if you can't afford the beach side suites. Book a table at the Crow's Nest in the restaurant one night around sunset and enjoy great food with a great, breezy view. It's a 10 minute scooter/taxi journey into town and I'd recommend renting a scooter for your time there if you've got the skills to ride. For the money this is an excellent place to stay as a couple or family with kids for a few days. A hidden gem in a town full of them!
