We (wife and kids too) stayed here during the floods in Bangkok. Overall the hotel is quite good - with two pools. The restaurant's food was pretty good too (I liked their fish and chips). There is a cheap breakfast across the street (american and french b'fasts). They make an effort to make the hotel a cut above others. But the place has, either by design or fate, become a favorite for Indian sex tourists. My wife is quite good looking and some of these guys would basically stare at her. Creeped her our and p'd me off - a lot. Short of getting into a fight and scaring our kids we moved to another place.

From what I've read, I'm guessing we were in the executive wing. Our room had a balcony which over looked the pool area. The room was nice, roomy, and the bathroom was very big with a separate (and very nice) shower and tub. The pool area was beautiful. It's not a bad walk to The Walking Street.

No problems and a really nice stay.

The Pools were colder than we expected but I understand the whole
Resort was the same
the Floor Staf responded to any query we might have ..even organising D V D s
New Year Party was spectacular although we had to leave early
Hotel arranged Airport transport...spot on..

Rated average because the pool and restaurant are great. The room needs the to be redone. Most horizontal surfaces were damaged or had cigarette marks. Internet dropped frequently. Sink drain leaked even after their repair.
