the hotel was of a very poor standard and very noisey with a vw camper van cocktail bar blasting out music until 3 am the room was basic and nowhere to put your clothes the shower was badley desigened and flodded the bath room and small bugs appeared in the sink, at lot of russians there who seemed happy there ,if you have a supermodel wife and drink a lot of vodka anywhere can good. good location for lk metro and loads of bars the bart bus runs out side and its only 10 bart to the exelent market ,the road out side is very busy and hardly has any pavements its up to you but not for me

got back from this hotel 11 1 2012 checked in 23 12 2011 had to pay up front when booking including gala buffets for xmas eve an new years eve at extra costs as it was compulsary food un edible as left uncovered an covered in flies hence went down with stomach trouble for three days .this hotel is the pits we had no choice to move as they would not refund any of our
£440 that we had payed and all hotels very busy snd no vacancies the staff are rude and arrogant my friend was eating a packet of crisps at the pool and they were snatched from her hand by a so called waitress telling her that you had to buy from them and not bring your own food or even water we saw many times stuff being taken from clients even an orange from a child we brought our own cereal for breakfast as they did not supply any we even brought our own butter as wot they had was left on a dish mixed with jam an d marmalade and again covered in flies the room hab no drawer space so we could not put our under wear away so it was left in our suit cases un locked after five days id noticed that some of my underwear was missing my friend laughed as we could not believe so i made an inventry of what i had left in the suit case still not believing that it had gone missing seven days later more went missing so i reported it to the manager but he didnt want to know after that we locked the cases to atop the thieving we were glad to leave this filthy stinking place so be warned and avoid this hotel like the plague my friend and i went to pattaya for three weeks to see friends we are both female senior citizens who just like travelling but again urge you to leave this hotel to the russians as they seem to like it dont say you werent warned by the way we did read the reviews but didnt think it was true but we certaianly found that they were .

I have been visiting Thailand for over thirty years but had never been to Pattaya. I don't spend a lot of money on hotels but do expect a clean hotel when I travel. Sawasdee Siam was a disappointment. The location is fair but some distance from the beach - probably a 15 minute walk. The property itself was in terrible shape, the halls were narrow,dark and dank, the rooms were shabby and everything about the hotel screams, "tear me down". I didn't use the swimming pool but it looked just OK. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The beach looked pretty nice and there are some good restaurants but on the spendy side.

If you want a hotel in the middle of the red light district, with the biggest Lady Boy bar across the road, then this is the hotel for you. I was amazed - on arrival, I got out of the taxi to be hit by the smell. After check in I went to my room and found the smell in the room was worse than outside. Their was damp all down one wall, the fridge was something from the 1950's - the shower rained water on the toilet (saturating the loo roll). Their was a sign warning you to lock your door at night to prevent theft, yet the windows would not close, they allowed access from outside. I instantly left and found a better hotel.
