“Close but Not Too Close”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

Tim Boutique Hotel is a stone's throw from the noisy and back to back bar area of second road, but might as well be streets away. Those looking for a good nights sleep will not be disappointed, although I suppose visitors to Pattaya may be looking for other things - anyway, it's possible to get a balance at this hotel.
I stayed in the most basic room and it was well equipped with comfortable king bed and large bathroom.
Staff were average, neither friendly or unfriendly.
My summary is that Tim Boutique is a well located hotel, but better value can probably be found elsewhere in Pattaya which really is 'hotel city'.

“good location with good management”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

We stayed here for 3 nights during Dec11, The hotel is located in Central Pattaya at a good location with proximity to beach, mall, restaurants, etc. The room was Ok for the price. The special feature was the Jacuzzi in the bathroom which is amazing with different lights in it. The pool is on the terrace of the hotel. The staff at lower level is not that efficient though the management at the top is pretty good. We had some complaints like no shower cap in the bathroom, the coffee maker not cleaned which was immediately resolved by the manager. The manager indeed went an extra mile and offered us free unlimited internet during our stay. The Breakfast was very good.Overall a recommended hotel if u want to be in Central Pattaya.

“Tim Boutique Hotel, nice stay”

I stayed at Tim Boutique Hotel for two nights in November 2011. The hotel is very nice, clean and welcoming.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was king size and very comfortable, also the room had a large whirlpool tub.
The room contained a little surprise, the shower stall has a window to the bedroom and in the bedroom is a curtain covering the window. The curtain is pretty sheer so even closed you get the shadow effect. So it can be very sensual if you are not shy.
Also for the price of the nightly stay the room was a little small and the internet should be included in the cost or at least have a secure network to connect.

Room Tip: a short walk to Beach Road and to a few restaurants and bars.

“Little Gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 November 2011

Great little hotel in a good central location. The staff are very friendly and very helpfull. The rooms are generally well equiped and with just a couple of minor changes could be even better. The addition of a clock, and attention to detail with the cleaning, mid stay.
The hotel is very clean and the rooms are also vary clean on arrival, however the level of cleaning does drop whilst you are resident, not cleaning mirrors or sweeping behind chaies etc. There is a phone on each floor foyer, to enable the front desk to contact house keeping, need to change this to maybe a paging system as it must ring between 10 and 15 times each morning and can be heard from your slumber.
These are minor issues and I would return to this hotel, so dont let these issues put you off, As the title says, its a little gem, and great value to.

Room Tip: Try to get a room away from the floor foyer phone.

“Enjoyed both my stays at Tim's”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 November 2011

I stayed at this hotel either side of a trip to Cambodia.
There seem to be refurbished and older style rooms. My first room was the older style but felt bigger than my second which was more modern, in particular the bathroom. I was happy with both styles.
Overall a very good experience. The hotel is well located, with a good rooftop pool that gets the sun all day. The staff are very friendly and service was excellent. Laundry service was very good and well priced, and the mini bar wasn't prohibitively expensive.
There are a few quirks though...for instance I was charged for using the instant coffee sachets in the room which is a first for me. Also wifi is chargeable which seems a little mean, and there's a slight obsession from the staff with the room entry cards. It's made very clear there's a 1000 baht penalty if it goes missing, and I was encouraged to leave it at reception whenever I left the hotel. Again a first, but really none of these quirks spoilt my stay.
My only real gripe was that there was construction noise pretty much ever day somewhere in the hotel or from the pool hall opposite (same ownership). I guess maintenance needs to be done some time, but maybe the management need to think about restricting the hours as I was disrupted as early as 8am and as late as 8pm.
Overall though happy to recommend.
