We arrived in Samui Cliff View for our honeymoon, very over priced, rooms are nice but not convient to get to, way too many steps.......bit misleading, we booked a sea view villa and got a double room with small balcony. You need transport to go anywhere, however very helpful staff to help you organise scooter etc.

The service at the hotel was very good, although you have to get a truck to and from your room because it is a distance from the reception. There was no free internet and no free transfers to or from the airport. The food in the restaurant was okay, but nothing special and the area around the restaurant and pool smelt of sewage drains, which was quite unpleasant. The room itself was nice, with comfortable beds and sufficient ammenities. However, for the price I have stayed in much nicer hotels on Koh Samui and would definitely not recommend this one.

Well, me and the Mrs. stayed at Samui Cliff View for our anniversary and loved it. The service was excellent. Prior to leaving, i had a good discussion with Ms. Pam and did not book online so that I could visit and see the resort for myself before paying. Upon reacing Samui we contacted the resort and she stood by her commitment and we paid for 2 nights initially to check the resort and then decided to stay there for the length of our stay in Samui. The rooms are comfortable, the views are absolutely stunning (for someone like me, with the likes for photography, it was heaven). I can say enough about the service. All the people at the resort were extremely helpful and did anything that we requested. On my birthday, they were all there in the lobby with my wife to wish me a happy birthday at 12 in the night! One problem that we did encounter was that one day we found ants in our room in the dustbin where we had thrown some discarded eatables. Upon calling the reception, a man was promptly sent with insecticide spray to handle the problem and he also cleaned the trash bin. After that we decided not to trash any eatables and we didnt have the problem again. The complimentary transfer shuttle only takes you to Lamai. It would have been wonderful if Chaweng was also covered with the shuttle. Wonderful place.... would recommend to anyone!

The service we've experienced is good - the lady who greeted us took the time to show us around the room and explained a bit about the room ( we took the most basic room - seaview). They provided complimentary welcome watermelon which we forgot to eat in the fridge and we found out someone removed it on our last day as we couldn't find it to eat then.

The room is hot (we are not allowed to leave the keys in the keyslot and leave the a/c running) so every time we get back to our rooms in the evening, it is hot.

The bathroom had a jet spray tub (which I didn't have time to use) but had a lot of ants in the rocky parts of it.. :( And some of the ants travelled around the room and into the bed. Black ones though so not harmful.

Loads of complimentary bottled water.

Provided most basic toiletries except toothbrush.

A good view. It had a pool which we didn't use.

A LOT OF STAIRS to climb but there's a buggy service if you don't mind waiting a while for it.

No wifi but there's a single terminal set up in the reception (hot area too as the fans were not working and waiting for a tech to fix then).

Very hot place as there weren't a lot of fans around. It was hot weather also. So, I don't know which to blame.

TV had some English channels.

Didn't see any beach..

We had McDs on the balcony one evening and left it there nicely bagged up. They forgot to clean that out.
