It is a great place to stay in Chang Mai. Nice guesthouse (with a great garden) and Safe neighborhood. The people working there (Fred & David and others...) are very nice and give good tips on where to go and what to visit. I recommend it! And it is cheap!

“Gorgeous gardens, super friendly people”
My stay at CM Blue House was great. The little garden (with bar and eating area) in the center is gorgeous and gives the guest house a really nice atmosphere. It's centrally located, so you can reach temples etc easily and there are lots of cafes and bars close by.
Rooms have everything needed: bed, desk & chair, wardrobe, fan (a/c optional), separate toilet, sink & shower. My room was large & clean, except for the bed-cover, which looked like it could use a wash. I paid 350 bath with fan (no a/c needed in December).
The French owners were great; very relaxed, super friendly and very helpful. They organized an express laundry for me (which I needed after coming back from trekking and about to leave the next morning) and transfer to the airport at 5.30am, as well as giving great advice for massage and food places. Safe storage available.
I'd definitely stay at CM Blue House again.

“Recommended”
Price: 400 Baht a night
Pros: Air con, nice lighting, nice garden surrounding, SUPER friendly management, no pressure for booking treks.
Cons: Bed was really saggy and not super comfy
Bottom Line: Recommended

“friendliest place in Chiang Mai”
It really feels good to find some peoples who don't try to sale you some stuff all the time and are more focus on helping you having a great time.
Thanks again to David and Fred i will not forget my time at CM Blue house.
